Misaligned Minds – The season is a changin’

Here Comes Fall- A Photo Essay I awake early for Misaligned Minds, a bike ride in Paducah, KY. It is a 100 mile tour of the flatlands of Western Kentucky.  Cycling in the region winds down this time of the year and this will most likely be my last long event ride of the season. As with all long rides, I have plenty of time to just think and reflect.  As I feel the burn from the cool air in my lungs and a uncomfortable chillness in my whole body, I decide[…]

The fist time competing, dad was there driving along the route offering support and encouragement. He was so proud of me and impressed that anyone could accomplish such a feat.  I had heard him repeat the story countless times to friends and family over the years.[…]

RV Life – It started innocently enough

While competing in a Splash Dog competition at the Kentucky Horse Park, I notice Bluegrass RV had various models of RV’s, Campers and Travel Trailers on display.  Between heats, I wander around admiring the huge selection of RV’s. About that time, a tremendous thunderstorm blows though. Prompted by the wind, hail and rain, I dive into the nearest camper I could find. The camper proves to be quiet homey as I watch Murphy sniff out every nook and cranny.  I ponder IF I ever got a camper I’d like an outdoor kitchen. Visions[…]
